Al Thandiwe Safaris is based in the centre of the Limpopo Province, South Africa. Nestled in a horse-shoe of dramatic mountain scenery, these 9000 hectares of some of South Africa’s prime bushveld host an abundance of plains game, exquisite bird life, and an extraordinary diversity of plant life.
Al Thandiwe means "The beloved" and that is certainly the case for those who work here, and to those of our guests who return so frequently to enjoy what we have to offer. In addition, the fact that we are less than 3 hours from Johannesburg by car makes getting here a pleasure.
The area is malaria free, with a comfortable climate, ensuring that visitors can enjoy what we offer all year round.
We believe in applying holistic management principles to the property, the game, the veld and anything else that we produce on our "home farm", including practicing organic principles wherever possible.
